We offer a variety of Social Skills Groups to help promote increased opportunities for communication and socialization with peers. Groups enable students age 3 to 22 to have an opportunity to generalize their goals in a fun and natural way.

Little Language Learners
Ages: 3-5 yrs
Ratio: 2 children to 1 adult
Designed for children with emerging communication (verbal, sign, augmentative device, or PECs) who need practice with requesting, turn taking, and interactive play.
Commanders of Communication
Ages: 5-8 yrs Ratio: 2 children to 1 adult
Designed for children who need to expand language, increase initiation, develop more flexibility within a group. Participants will work on conversation skills including eye contact, body space, volume.
Social Butterflies
Ages: 5-8 yrs Ratio: 3 children to 1 adult
Designed for children who need to learn to gracefully win and lose games, expand pretend play, compromise, and increase flexibility.
Buddy Builders
Ages: 8-12 yrs Ratio: 4 children to 1 adult
Designed for children with High Functioning Autism or Aspergers who need help with the subtle details of being a friend. Participants will cooperate, collaborate, and converse
Ready Renegades
Ages: 12-22 yrs Ratio: 2 children to 1 adult
Designed for teens who understand and use language but have difficulty with conversing. Sessions will provide social skills opportunities, vocational skills, and opportunities generalize life skills to prepare for the world after school.
Cohesion
Ages: 12-22 yrs Ratio: 5 children to 1 adult
Designed for those who need practice navigating social norms. The students will engage in team challenges to build skills such as cooperation, leadership, taking direction, responding to criticism, being flexible, and having a positive attitude.
Winter and Summer Camps
Social skills groups are offered during winter break and summer break.

More Information
Groups are held virtually or in person at our center depending on age/ability
Groups will be limited to 5 students with behavioral needs and a typical peer model if available.
Each group will be led by either a BCBA or BCaBA, BCBA or BCaBA Supervisee, or Licensed Teacher and an assistant (if the group is full).
If you are interested in a group but the day does not correspond with your schedule, please call to see if any changes can be made.
Each group will learn through art, music, games, and fun activities!
*New students will receive a free 30 minute intake before registration.
